Not both at once: for a fridge and a freezer, buy two DC160s or choose the DCRF450. *Catalog minimum at 100% battery depth of discharge; the sizing calculator adds cloudy-day margin.

Stand the unit upright for 2 hours, connect it to your battery with the supplied cord and a fuse near the battery, then let it cool for 4 hours before loading food.
