David J Bergeron,Founder and President. David Bergeron has worked in the refrigeration and aerospace industries for 21 years. He holds three refrigeration patents, and three spacecraft patents, and is the founder of SunDanzer, selling solar powered refrigerators world-wide, based on technology developed and licensed by him under contract to NASA.  Mr. Bergeron has served as the lead engineer on a satellite design for reentry and recovery, the lead engineer and project manager for the Lunar habitat solar power heat pump demonstration test article development, and was the technical lead for NASA’s Advanced Technology Refrigeration project, developing, testing, and evaluating thermoelectric, Stirling, and variable speed vapor compression cycle technologies.   Mr. Bergeron graduated from Texas A&M University cum laude in 1982 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and from the University of Houston CLC with a Masters in Finance in 1985.


Bill Barg, P.E. , Vice President Engineering and Military Sales Manager. Bill is a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer with 19 years of experience in design, analysis and project management. He has worked in diverse international engineering environments including experience in multimillion dollar project management and product design groups.  He has led SunDanzer’s development of military solar cooling systems since 2007.  Bill has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Spanish from the University of Arizona.


Billy Amos, General Manager.Billy joined SunDanzer in 2004 after serving 6 years in the Army Corp of Engineers and 14 years in the food industry as a Purchasing Manager and Operations Manager for a major branded foods corporation. He is also a partner in a solar water distillation company and holds 4 US and 2 international patents related to water distillation products. Billy and Patty, his wife of 30 years, live in Chaparral, NM with their 2 cats, 2 dogs and many seasonal hummingbirds. Billy and Patty have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.

Jim Airola, Vice President, Medical Products. Jim partnered with David Bergeron at the inception of  SunDanzer in 1999 while pursuing graduate work in economics. After 11 years of teaching, Jim joined SunDanzer in an official capacity in the winter of 2009.  Jim has worked as an engineer, as an international volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, as a small business owner, and as an Assistant Professor at the Naval Postgraduate School as well as teaching at the University of Houston and the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Jim earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Houston. Jim and his wife Jill reside in Carmel, Ca with their two boys, three chickens, and one dog. Jim also currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Santa Clara University.
